| Since Murto is a cooler site with mature vines (planted in 1978), it tends to really over-perform in warm vintages. In 2002, the grapes attained a high level of maturity which translates into a smooth, silky texture in the wine. The signature Murto spiciness is a bolstered by the ripe fruit character and we expect complexity to emerge as the wine evolves. |
