| Pinot Noir from this vineyard tends to be herbal and floral (especially lavender), with deep black fruit flavors and aromas (especially ripe blueberry), and a silky texture. This version is an appropriate swan song for this terrific vineyard. Deep, dark, and concentrated, it is also fresh and lively with impeccable balance, fine tannins, and sufficient structure for at least medium term cellaring. Enjoy some now and put some away to watch it's evolution over the next 10 years (or longer). |
